Introduction

Mr. Hahn is the third-generation leader of the German company Hahn, and he is a pioneer in introducing top-quality Australian South Sea pearls and Tahitian pearls to the European market. He possesses extensive knowledge of gemstones and pearls and has provided jewelry appraisal services to global clients for many years.

Mr. Hahn studied under a gem-cutting master in Paris, France, from 1974 to 1975. A year later, he obtained his GIA gemologist qualification. From 1992 to 2012, he served as the president of the German Gemstone and Pearl Import and Export Association. Since 1986, he has been a sworn appraiser at the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce in Germany.

Mr. Hahn is passionate about the art of gemstones and frequently travels to Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Colombia, Brazil, and other regions to source gemstones, as well as to Japan, Australia, the Philippines, and Tahiti to seek out pearls. Additionally, he is a regular attendee at international jewelry and gemstone exhibitions, often visiting fairs in Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, and the United States to acquire high-quality gemstones.
